I had no idea...

...that editing pictures could take so long!!
With my perfectionist attitude it took me rather a long time to get a satisfying effect, but I'm proud. I usually skimp on the editing, so I hope you like them :)

These pictures are my favourites (not counting the rather amusing ugly ones... sorry Livvy but you can be ugly too!) with Olivia (whoIhavewrittentoomuchabout....)

EDIT: Sorry to all the people who think I'm this beautiful, but the model is Olivia not me! Still, easy mistake (in year 7 people thought we were sisters...)

It was a temperamental day. Sometimes the skies were blue, and small clouds could be seen like seaweed floating on the ocean (aren't I good at imagery) but suddenly a white sheet would be thrown over us, and the whole sky would just look like a blank page. So the lighting varies, a lot....

I <3 bokeh! Now if only it were real :S

And thus our adventures ended.
For now.

I now have so much more respect for fashion photographers (and photographers in general) because we took SOOO many pictures (less than last time though, because the memory was instantly full because I forgot to delete Madeira pictures... had to get rid of a load :( ) and many of them were rejected - too fuzzy, bad lighting, Olivia's face went a bit... yeah, you get the idea.
Hope you like them :)

  11. Thanks for your comment. Well I live in Belgium and where I live we speak Dutch. But the people who work in the H&M in Antwerp don't speak dutch but only French, I really don't get why they hire people who don't speak the language of the costumers! So when I asked if the jumpsuit came in today, and if it didn't, when it would come in, they couldn't understand me. Great...
I like your drawings, it's so nice that you have so much inspiration.

  12. Yes, sometimes we don't know which effect is the best for that special picture.
On my blog, I usually post natural pictures because I prefer pictures with no effects.
But these pics are very nice.

  19. TAAA NEEE AAAAAAAA!!
i worked out how to make the pictures massive!
when you insert a picture, there's part of the linky bit where is says width and length and you just double the numbers up! MAGIC!

  20. thanks for stopping by! This post is really great. I love the sepia, vintage-y looking shot - it reminds me of the movie Fairy Tale. And yes, editing takes forever, ahh!

It really does give a person great perspective on a field when you do a project personally - I know I've felt that way with sewing! The pro's make it look so easy to do.
